  • How do I get to Syros?

By plane: Syros is connected by plane with Athens (Eleftherios Venizelos) several days a week. Flights are conducted by Olympic Air and the flight is about 30 minutes.

By boat: Syros is connected daily with Piraeus throughout the year. The journey takes about 4 hours with conventional ferries and with the high speed ferries approximately 2.5 hours.

Syros is also connected with several routes throughout the year, with Cyclades, Dodecanese, Samos and Ikaria.

  • How do I get to the rooms?

If you have your own transport, at the exit of the port you will go to the left and follow the signs to Galissas. Arriving at the beach of Galissas, the central crossroads near the beach, there are signs towards the rooms Oasis. The rooms are located just 300m from the village center. If you encounter any problem you can call us, to give you instructions.

If you do not have your own transport, you can get to Galissas using the local bus. The bus routes are quite often during the day and in the summer there are buses also at night.

Another alternative is to take a taxi. The main taxi rank is located about 200m from the right exit of the harbor, while during the arrival of vessels at the port of Syros, there are usually taxis right at the exit of the harbor to accommodate passengers.

 

  • How do I book a room?

If you wish to book a room, contact us either by e-mail or telephone, and once we inform you of the availability and price of the rooms, we need some necessary information, and except for some certain cases, a minimum amount of deposit of 1-2 days is required. After making the bank deposit your reservation is guaranteed and then we will contact you to confirm your reservation.

  • How often are the rooms cleaned?

The rooms are cleaned, in accordance with regulations of GTO, every day while every 2 days the linen (sheets and towels) is changed. We personallly guarantee the cleanliness of our rooms. There is also the possibility of extra clening, if necessary, on customer request.

  • Are there any other free amenities?

  •    A baby cot is available on customer request.
  •    Wi-fi internet access is available in the room.
  •    A laptop is available for use in the room on customer request.
